現在いくつものミスコンテストが存在しますが、その多くは女性の表面的な美しさに焦点を合わせているように見受けられます。

ビューティージャパンは外見・内面の美しさだけではなく、女性のキャリアなど、総合的な美しさを重視した、全く新しい大会です。

海外発のミスコンテストのような身長などの制限はなく、自らの使命感を持ち、社会や地域への貢献、内面も含めた美しさやキャリア、発信力を審査対象としている点が大きな特徴となります。

今後女性の活躍が益々期待される中で、自身の社会的理想像を描く力、それを実現する力が求められてくると考えています。

世の中の変化とともに、女性の生き方も変化していると我々は考えています。

そのような中で、女性が積極的に挑戦できる場をつくることにより、本人だけではなく、それを見た多くの女性の美意識や健康意識、キャリアの可能性が高まるのではと勘案し、ビューティージャパンコンテストの開催へと至りました。

また、昨今はインターネットの普及により様々な情報が増え、何が真偽か困惑する時代へと変化しています。
より的確な情報を模索し、発信できる女性像を、このビューティージャパンで発掘していきたいと思っています。

女性の皆様、自身の心と体をさらに美しく磨き、素敵な情報発信の中核となってください。
そして、日本の真の美しい女性像を日本だけではなく、世界へと発信していきましょう。

Nowadays, there are various beauty pageant though it seems that most of them focus on the “superficial beauty” of women.

Beauty Japan is a completely new type of beauty pageant, focused not only on inside/outside beauty but also on comprehensive beauty including their social careers, etc.

Instead of setting height limits for applicants, comprehensive beauty is considered more important, such as sense of mission, contribution to society, ability to deliver messages to the world.

As world changes, women’s lifestyle is also changing.
We consider that the ability to draw a picture of an ideal world/future and also to take concrete actions to make it happen, are both important.

We came to establish this pageant because we wanted to create an opportunity for women to be able to challenge themselves. Also expecting to raise audiences’ awareness of health and beauty.

It is difficult to judge what is the best information from overwhelming amount of information currently available.

We want to discover women who can select and spread the best information.

Women, let’s become more beautiful in mind, body and soul, and spread that true beauty to the world.

A world with more women who have confidence and enjoy their connection with their society, is the kind of future we want to see.
